IDoL. OOPS! S/S19
Youthful maximalism, endorphins and puberty – the main theme of the collection “OOPS!” S / S19 by IDoL.
You are young, you are careless, you are happy! You can do everything and even have the right to make a mistake! This is the perfect time format when you can easily turn mountains into a tube, and place the entire world ocean in your spoon for breakfast.
Bold solutions of color scale, contrast of shapes and textures, extraordinary combinations of fabrics. Costume group – 100% cashmere deliberately put on T-shrit with the legendary sneakers NB 574 reminiscent of the aesthetics of the US fashion of the late 80s – early 90s. Soiled denim, bright shorts, red baseball caps, jackets with a hood, a complex cut of raincoats and unique accessories from GARA – make a stunning visibility of the new spring-summer season from Serge Smolin.
The emphasis is S / S19 from IDoL. “OOPS!” draws from a comic book. It can be seen on caps, t-shirts, winds, trench coats, everywhere – this interjection emphasizes the character and general image of the collection, imbued with the spirit of freedom and independence.
Inspiration was the work of the French artist Grégoire Guillemin – known for his paintings in the direction of pop art, depicting superhero comic books, movie characters and other popular characters in everyday life.
The show will be held in the Gallery of Garage Design “Tіnі ta Vіdtіnki”, which is an experimental innovative form of interaction with the creative community and clients. The first and only gallery in Central and Eastern Europe presents a unique collection of American author’s handmade interior decorations in the style of the New York Art Nouveau of the 21st century, which are works of art (Functional Art).
In addition, the gallery is a multifunctional space, combining:
-The first in Ukraine exposition-laboratory solutions for premium architectural lighting,
– space for seminars, presentations, educational events in the field of art, fashion, architecture and design,
-Communication space for creative community.
In the main exhibition, permanent exhibitions, installations, performances, the gallery meets and interacts with various kinds of art, which open new forms and facets of artistic reflection.
